In active response to the theme of the 2019 National Work Safety Month—“Prevent Risks, Eliminate Hazards, Curb Accidents”—and to effectively enhance all employees' safety awareness and capabilities while improving disaster prevention, mitigation, and relief capacity, our company conducted its annual safety knowledge training and evacuation drill on August 23.
This training program consists of three main components. First, safety officers from each department will summarize and report on key safety hazards within their respective departments. They will specifically educate all employees on existing safety risks and preventive measures within the company, enabling everyone to gain a deeper understanding of the company's safety hazards and safety management practices.
Following the theoretical training session, evacuation drills and hands-on training for fire extinguishers and gas masks were conducted. Upon the activation of the fire alarm, all employees promptly evacuated along designated safety routes through the floor's escape exits in an orderly and rapid manner, proceeding to the predetermined assembly point. Upon arrival, safety officers from each department conducted headcounts, assessed employee conditions, and reported the number of safely evacuated personnel to the safety manager. All participating employees successfully evacuated to the assembly point via the pre-planned routes.
Subsequently, the fire safety supervisor from the property management company was invited to deliver a presentation on fire evacuation procedures and conduct training on the proper use of common firefighting equipment. The session primarily covered initial fire response protocols, methods for reporting incidents and initiating emergency responses, as well as the correct operation of fire extinguishers and gas masks. Following the presentation, employees participated in hands-on fire extinguisher training exercises under the guidance and supervision of property management staff.
