scope of application
Polycaprolactone (PCL), which is made up of ε-caprolactone monomers through ring-opening polymerization. Depending on the degree of polymerization, the molecular weight of PCL can range from thousands to hundreds of thousands of Daltons, and the molecular weight directly affects the degradation rate and mechanical properties of the material. PCL is an important biodegradable material, with excellent hydrophobicity, flexibility, biocompatibility and controllable degradability, while showing good viscoelasticity and low-temperature processability, can be prepared into microspheres, fibers, films, foams and other forms, widely used in orthopedic implants, absorbable surgical sutures, drug sustained-release carriers, tissue engineering stents, medical aesthetic fillers, 3D printing and other fields, and has passed FDA, CE, NMPA certification.
